This 4th of July, the County of San Diego is planning a Semiquincentennial Celebration (250th anniversary of the United States), an opportunity to reflect on our shared history and uplift the diverse communities that shape our region. Each year, thousands of people gather around the harbor to watch the fireworks. This event will be an element within the annual celebration. We are gathering community input to help shape the vision, themes, and experience of the event.
