Free communication and community

I can't count the number of times I have either used the library or met somebody there using the library to send an email or look something up on Google. I've personally enjoyed and been educated by lectures, displays, concerts, music and art classes. I go to the library for shelter in the rain, to cool off in the hot summer or warm up in the winter. My children have gone to story hours and picked books to take home and read together. The library attracts all ages, rich and poor, residence and tourists equally. We need free libraries with long hours.

Birthday Book

Growing up in my hometown, my favorite part of the neighborhood was being just down the street from the library. I adored visiting the library, and it became even more special thanks to a unique program that sent me a new book every birthday.
