The County's Community Based Transportation (CBT) Framework also provides a Transportation Toolbox with flexible design options that could be considered as part of the Neighborhood Mobility Plan.
These options are oriented towards improving safety for all users, calming vehicular speeds, and improving access to pedestrian and bicycle facilities. This list is not all encompassing and communities are encouraged to explore other options so long as they align with the program objectives of improved safety, reduced vehicular speeds, and provide an overall benefit to the community.
The Toolbox is organized into the following categories:
- Roadway Traffic Calming Treatments
- Pedestrian Treatments
- Bicycle Treatments
- Multimodal Treatments
- Policies and Programs

The full transportation toolbox can be found in Chapter 3 of the CBT Framework Guidelines.
