The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is working on a project to make it easier to speak at Board of Supervisors meetings. Our new online system will let you sign up to speak – whether you plan to attend in person or call in by phone. You will just select your agenda items, tell us how you'd like to participate, and we'll send you reminders and instructions. No more paper forms or early morning sign-ups needed.
Our new online platform will bring a welcome change to the speaker request process. Gone will be the days of separate systems for phone and in-person requests, where staff had to manually track every detail. Now, everything will happen in one place – whether you're calling in or attending in person. The system will handle all the organization automatically and even send out reminders. We expect it to be a simpler, faster process that makes life easier for both speakers and staff.
We want to gather the community’s feedback on their current experiences and pain points, as well as gauge the importance of the key features being added in the new system. This can help ensure the new system meets the community's needs and expectations.
