This Plan will find and support green industries in our region that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, create jobs, and help local communities. Industry focus areas include energy supply, buildings, transportation, farming and working lands, and blue technology.
The County is working with community groups, schools, and businesses to learn more about green jobs, identify training needs, and help new industries grow here.
Your input will help shape the future of company and job training priorities for the region. The County will use your ideas to inform the Plan.

The County is gathering insights from the community about green jobs and changes in the workforce that support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Your input is valuable to us and will inform the plan. The survey has 20 questions and may take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close on February 20, 2026
