We love our local library and Mr. Jeremy too!

We love our local library! When the kids were small we went to Mr. Jeremy's story time and so did everyone else. The room was packed and lots of "ROARING!!!" going on a certain book. Lots of smiles and ABC's. It was a great way to help the littles socialize and prepare them for preschool. When they got bigger the library rented us movies, let us make crafts that are still with us. We made tie-dye shirts, bags, decorated mugs and learned how to paint. Now they are even bigger, and we love the library for gaming activities and ebooks! Oh, and we love the library activities where we get to meet furry animals, watch magic shows, and celebrate the holidays.

A Life-long Love

When I was a child, my mom would bring me to the local library, which had a summer reading program that I loved. After finishing a book, we would go back to the library. I would sit next to the librarian and tell her the story of the book I had read. Each child in the program had a colorful construction paper list up on the library wall, and one by one, the titles of the books I had read were added to my list. I can't live without my library

Initially, the Poway library was my home base because it was between home and work. I've discovered authors with creative ways of telling stories and others with novel and innovative plots. Other books were more heartfelt and left me in tears many times. I've learned about Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein. Before digital media, I would pick up audio CD's for my commute and discovered ghosts, investing, and more biographies.
