The Library is Community

The Library is Community. It is where you can go in any city in the country and be part of something.

A library offers a place to ponder and a place to wander. People meet, play and find safety in a library. It is akin to the post office in its history dating back to our roots.

Everyone has a connection to a library and it is as important as community parks in making a community cohesive. It's also a place where you can visually lay eyes on your tax dollars and know that you have contributed to someone of value.

Fallbrook Library- North County Mountain Dulcimer Group

The Fallbrook library brings together staff, patrons and community In unique ways. The Fallbrook library is an important center for community building relationships through education and the arts. For the North County Mountain Dulcimer group, people come from all over San Diego county to be a part of a specialized and little known music group that focuses on an instrument called the “Appalachian” or “Mountain” dulcimer. This is important because mountain dulcimer is considered to be the only acoustic string instrument developed in the United States.
