Audio Books

My library is invaluable to me because I drive a lot and I love to listen to audiobooks.

I would be lost without it.

Love the Library

I am a huge supporter of the library, particularly the Solana Beach library. I always check out books as opposed to buying them. One of the programs I really like is the Hot Right Now program. It allows you to check out popular or new books without a long wait time.My only criticism: the library is not open on Saturday. I think all libraries should be open either Saturday or Sunday for those people that work full time and cannot get to the library during the week.

The Library is Community

The Library is Community. It is where you can go in any city in the country and be part of something.A library offers a place to ponder and a place to wander. People meet, play and find safety in a library. It is akin to the post office in its history dating back to our roots. Everyone has a connection to a library and it is as important as community parks in making a community cohesive. It's also a place where you can visually lay eyes on your tax dollars and know that you have contributed to someone of value.
