Encinitas Library
The library has helped me gain strength from anxiety and OCD. As part of my exposure therapy, I had been encouraged to go outside my house to a place I feel safe but also pushes me outside my comfort zone. To motivate myself, I had developed a routine: I request a book through the app, which gives me a reason to get out of my house and go get it. The first time doing this was so scary for me, but overtime the comfortability of the library gave me motivation to go back. I first started this exposure treatment 3 years ago, but now I am able to go to the library about once a week.
