Hello!

I love going to libraries. I like working there in the quiet, having my books checked out, and taking advantage of the crafting room. My boyfriend and I also LOVE doing Swing Dance Under the Dome. I was devastated to hear the new time hours because I know people rely on it. My mom would take my siblings and me to the library all the time. We were excited because we liked going. She was excited because it gave her some peace and quiet. She also loves reading, too though. Libraries are such a privilege and wonderful asset to any city. Thank you!

Choosing books from the Library is our fav family activity

My name is Destiny McMillen and we most often go to the San Diego library in La Mesa on Allison. Our family of 5 love coming to the library to pick out our books for the week. Finding my space

SDCL has been part of my life since I was a child, going to the library with my mother and siblings and picking out new books to read, movies to watch, at one point video games to play. I never thought it would have such a huge impact on me, reviving my love for reading, volunteer work igniting my love and devotion to libraries.
