Registration will open soon for May 2026 Community Climate Conversations!

The County is dedicated to creating sustainable, environmentally friendly communities for all residents. To support community-driven ideas, we collaborate with local partners to build stronger connections between our agency, community members, and other climate champions. These efforts focus on advancing programs and projects that make our communities safer and more livable, while also addressing impacts of climate change.

The County’s Regional Decarbonization Framework sets a vision for achieving zero carbon emissions by mid-century. Central to achieving this vision is building ideas and projects that are important to you and your community, and help all of us in the region feel safe, be healthy, and thrive.

The most meaningful change starts locally. The Community Climate Conversations are a place for all of us to learn, share, and shape ideas and efforts to build resilient and safe communities.

    Join us to:

    • Learn what ideas and projects local organizations in your community are doing
    • Share priorities that are most important for your neighborhood to be resilient to climate change
    • Co-create projects alongside other members of your community

Supported by Climate Action Campaign, Urban Collaborative Project, and Bayside Community Center, these events are focused on co-creating projects that build connection to community members climate needs. We'll explore opportunities for your ideas to help our neighborhood thrive. Ideas shared at these events will be used by different County departments and partners to help plan future climate work, apply for funding, and tell the story of what our region is doing to fight climate change.

Food will be provided. Participants will have a chance to win prizes through an opportunity drawing.
