Join a Community Climate Conversation in June and July 2024!

Join the County of San Diego together with our community partners Climate Action Campaign, Urban Collaborative Project, Bayside Community Center, El Cajon Collaborative, San Diego 350, and GlobalARC to amplify community-led climate solutions. This series of events will take place in June and July 2024 and will celebrate existing local climate work, determine priorities for meeting local needs and goals through guided conversations, and identify partnerships for advancing tangible solutions.

Along with meeting others in your community inspired to make a positive difference, there will be other benefits for attending, including:

Opportunity drawings for prizes.

There are five total events, each focusing on a different area of the San Diego region. At each event, we will engage in detailed discussion on topic areas important to that region, as informed by our previous events in 2023. You are welcome to attend any and all of these events!

Central San Diego (Supervisorial District 4): June 13, 2024, 5pm-7:30pm, Location: Malcolm X Library, Topics: Air Quality, Food Security, Natural Climate Solutions, Transportation

Coastal San Diego (Supervisorial District 3): July 9, 2024, 5pm-7:30pm, Location: Mira Mesa Library, Topics: Natural Climate Solutions, Food Systems & Circular Economy, Transportation

Southern San Diego (Supervisorial District 1): July 15, 2024, 5pm-7:30pm, Location: San Ysidro Library, Topics: Transportation, Food Systems, Energy

Eastern San Diego (Supervisorial District 2): July 18, 2024, 3:30pm-6pm, Location: Alpine Library, Topics: Energy, Transportation, Natural Climate Solutions

Northern San Diego (Supervisorial District 5): July 22, 2024, 5pm-7:30pm, Location: Palomar College, Topics: Energy, Transportation, Food Systems & Circular Economy
