What is Every Story Counts?

Every Story Counts is a new project from the California State Library.

From January 25-31, 2026, we are gathering stories about how and why you use the library. You can respond to the online survey or fill out a print survey at any County Library branch.

The goal of the survey is to create a more complete picture of library use across California

Why is San Diego County Library participating?

    Who should take the survey?
