The Library
Coming to the Rancho santa Fe Library is always a treat. It is so reminiscent of the time when I was a child and forward to going to the library both at my school as well as to the community library. I always fell at home in a library and even as an adult visiting our small library here in our community it truly is a nostalgic experience. The warm welcome of the staff’ familiar faces and the sense of community create such a tangible experience especially when the world around us is moving too fast. I want to commend the staff for always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. My mother and I would frequent this library, and the staff knew us well. My mother would read the newspaper and just enjoy the quiet space especially on a hot day. It is also great to see the kids share the same space with adults and the elderly. The bustle of different activities available for all ages also creates the sense of community. I’m always excited to come spend time at the library whether it’s to peruse through different books or just work on my own project. It’s also inspiring to see that many kids come to this library, reminiscent to the same excitement that I felt when I went to one.
