I use the library almost every day, especially for audio books that are an important part of my routine, and it has also become a special place for my granddaughter, who is developing a love for reading. The library isn’t just a building—it’s a daily resource that supports learning, imagination, and connection across generations. Saving the library means preserving access to knowledge, stories, and opportunities that benefit our entire community, now and in the future.

Ease of Use

I love that I can hear of a book title from a friend or on public radio and then go straight to my computer and find and request it from my local Encinitas Library. They will even get me a book from outside the county system or San Diego. They notify me when it’s available. This ease of use allows me to borrow a book instead of having to buy the book.
