Love for community literacy

I love taking my kids to the library. We visit the Carlsbad Dove Library, Eureka Library, Vista Library, and the Oceanside Library Mobile. It started when they were toddlers. We came in for the reading time and play time. We checked out books and read them before nap time and bedtime. I checked out books about phonics and math to get ideas on how to introduce reading and math to the kids. My kids also love playing the educational games on the library computer, color, and play board games and puzzles. During the summer, we come to the library to cool off and would spend hours there reading books and looking at books. My children are 9 and 6, they love to read and we come to the library every week to check out books. We love the public libraries.
