2024 Pro Housing Grant Funding Opportunity (Public Webinar)
The County of San Diego (County) is releasing a draft funding application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding program titled Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing). This application proposes $2 million to facilitate innovative approaches to housing production.
If awarded, the County will use the funding to continue the Development Feasibility Analysis (DFA). There is a virtual public meeting where the DFA and this grant application will be discussed. To submit comments regarding this draft grant application, you can attend the public meeting (information below), email PDS.LongRangePlanning@sdcounty.ca.gov, or call (858) 505-6677.
Please submit comments by October 15, 2024. Staff will be revising this grant application in response to public comments.

DFA Public Workshop (Virtual)
We want to hear from you! The County of San Diego Planning & Development Services (PDS) invites you to attend a public virtual workshop to discuss the results and recommendations for the Development Feasibility Analysis (DFA) project. The workshop will offer the results of the study, recommendations, and next steps on this effort.

Board of Supervisors
Staff presented to the Board of Supervisors on to provide:
(1) An update on the Development Feasibility Analysis effort,
(2) A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with North County Transit District (NCTD),
(3) Specific timelines and anticipated cost estimates to complete the DFA in the communities, and
(4) Infrastructure Gap Analysis (IGA) maps of existing road, water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, a progress report, and an update on the next phase of the analysis.
