    Frequently asked questions:

    1. What is the best way to arrive at an open house?
      • UCP aims to host sustainable events. We recommend alternative transportation options such as walking, biking, carpooling, or taking public transit. The Trolley System Orange line has two stops near the location: 47th street and Euclid Avenue. Bus lines, 3, 4, 5, 13, 60, 916, 917, and 955.
    2. What is the parking situation?
      • The Earthlab is located next to Millennial Tech Middle School and Gompers Park. There is plenty of street parking adjacent to the park off Hilltop Dr and Carolina Ln. We are working with our partners to secure parking at the adjacent school and nearby churches. We will update this FAQ as news arrive
    3. Will food be provided?
      • Yes. We will provide a free lunch from a local vendor.
    4. Why are we hosting these events?
      • These events will gather community feedback to develop an Urban Greening Plan in alignment with our Transformative Climate Communities Grant. The UGP will identify and map priority areas for tree planting, green spaces, and community-led maintenance to provide clean air, environmental cooling, and walkable neighborhoods. This plan is shaped by community voices and prioritizes equity, inclusion, and cultural diversity.
