Consultation has concluded

Every year, the County of San Diego develops a Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) Plan. The CCP Plan was originally developed in response to 2011 Public Safety Realignment (Assembly Bill 109) that fundamentally shifted the adult criminal justice system by transferring clients from State custody and supervision to the County. The implementation of Public Safety Realignment required a comprehensive strategy called the CCP Plan.

For San Diego County, implementation of Public Safety Realignment is conducted within the broader context of local initiatives and Board of Supervisor priorities affecting the justice-involved populations. The CCP Plan provides a framework for San Diego County justice partners and stakeholders to use in planning for, monitoring and reporting on the results of the County’s criminal justice system. The CCP Plan also describes programs and services that demonstrate the successful implementation of Public Safety Realignment.
