Participating at Board Meetings

The County is committed to creating a more inclusive and accessible government. We are working to enhance how we reach out to the community and invite participation in Board meetings. We want to make it easier for everyone, including underrepresented or non-English speaking communities, to get information about Board meetings and to participate in them.

Your input is critical to this effort. It will help us improve:

• How we share meeting information and materials
• Invite participation
• Explain how the meeting is conducted
• Offer opportunities to submit comments

The information we collect will identify new ways to expand access, strengthen transparency and ensure that a wider range of perspectives can meaningfully engage in local decision-making. Recommendations will be shared with the Board in Spring 2026 for their review and consideration.
